Community Engagement in Wisbech Park

Fenland District Council and local Police, teamed up last week to do some community engagement with those who live around Wisbech Park. Due to a recent increase in Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) in the park  over the summer, community door knocking was conducted and a drop-in session was held on the New Horizons Bus to allow local residents to come and have their say about issues that may be affecting them.

An increase in foot patrols alongside community engagement and reassurance, with help from CCTV has reduced the number of call-ins to the police about the Park in the last week.

Patrols and reassurance visits will continue to take place in an attempt to resolve the current issues.
