Operation Pheasant Drop-in Session on 26th June, Wisbech Market

Operation Pheasant is an umbrella partnership made up of Fenland District Council, the police, the Home Office, the Gangmaster Licensing Authority, HM Revenue and Customs , the Department for Work and Pensions, Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue and the UK Human Trafficking Centre.

The joint task force work at tackling problems faced by mainly migrant workers living in the private rented sector.


The New Horizons Vehicle will be parked on Wisbech market place from 3 o’clock on the 26th June 2015 and is an oppertunity for those affected by exploitation to come along as well as those who want to learn more about the partnership or may know of people being affected by illegal housing and trafficking. We will  have a member of the Fenland Community Safety team on board as well as Police and the relevant Housing officers.
